Cambridge Bay Operations

In 2011, 3P Minerals began a discovery operation in search for previous metals and stones in Nunavut, Canada, focussing primarily on the Hope Bay region. However, new technologies in use revealed that neighbouring Cambridge Bay would provide a more profitable and sustainable location for mining operations.

Exploration operations continued in the area 2 years past the initial mining project which revealed diamond and silver in addition to gold. As a first for 3P Minerals, the sole-operated site expanded into the Diamond and Silver extraction market in 2017.

By 2023, Diamonds made up 14% of the mineral extraction at Cambridge Bay, an increasing figure as 3P Minerals expands operations in the area.
